Cusco,Puno and Arequipa 10D/9N

Day 1.- Cusco – City Tour
13:30PM Pick up from your hotel for your City tour visiting 2 temples in the city (the cathedral and Qoricancha – temple of the sun) and 4 archeological sites out side of the city (Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Pucapucará and Tambomachay).

Day 2.- Sacred Valley
After your breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up from the hotel to go visit the:
08:30AM Pick up from the hotel, Then the bus will come to pick us up and go toward Pisaq (50 min approx.) ,during the trip from Cusco To Pisaq we will stop at a natural viewpoint where we will be able to make out the whole Sacred Valley . The Sacred Valley was undoubtedly a key area of settlement to the Incas; its combination of agreeable climate and fertile plains bestow an unusual abundance for the high Andes.

Later on, we will drive towards Pisaq typical market which is certainly the most famous, handicrafts markets in all of South America and visit the archeological place of Pisac 2,950 masl. At the ruins you can see a fine art of stone works and impressive agricultural terraces. After visit Pisaq we will continue our trip toward Urubamba place where we will stop to have lunch .After lunch we will continue driving to the archeological place of Ollantaytambo 2,700 masl, an important Inca construction built during the Inca's heydays. This is an extraordinary Inca place where besides the ruins you may also see an amazing rock formation representing the Inca god Wiracocha. And finally we are going to visit Chinchero 3,762 masl Afterwards, we will return to Cusco arriving approx 6:30pm.

Day 3.- Machupicchu Tour
After early breakfast in your hotel we will pick up you for the:
Early in the morning around 6:20 a.m we will pick you from the your hotel to take to the train station .the Back Packer train leaves at 6:50 a.m which is like 4 hours into the train journey till Aguas Calientes .Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes town, the representative of MAINTREEX will take to the terminal to catch the Bus up to Machupicchu which is like 30 mins approximately Once you be there we will have guided tour for (2-3 hours)where you will explore the most important and interesting places in Machupicchu after that you will have free time to explorer by your self aprox.1 hours to make a more pictures or to climb to the big mountain of Waynapicchu 2634masl.

After all your time that you spend in Machupicchu you should take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco leaves at 05:00 p.m arriving in the evening around 09:20 p.m that is with Back Packer train and once you arrive to Cusco we will take from the train station to your hotel which is the end of your tour.

Day 4.-
07:00AM We pick up you from the hotel and transfer to the bus station and we take the First Class bus to Puno , A Professional Bi-lingual Staff. Guided Tours to Andahuaylillas Raqchi, and a Buffet Lunch in Sicuani Village. La Raya, Pucará and Museum (Archeological Centers), the journey is about 9 hours. (You will live a different experience very close to Inca's customs because people who live in these places still have the same way Inkas used to live.) You can also buy some Souvenirs, take all the pics you want there are beautiful landscapes. We'll arrive in Puno at 05:00PM and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5.-PUNO – TITICACA LAKE – AMANTANI
Early in the morning (7:30 am) you will be picked up from your hotel. then take the boat toward the Uros Island (2 hours). Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water.

Continue traveling in our boat, we will reach the next island called Amantaní, just arriving there will be first contact with locals families, that will warmly offer you their typical homes, there you get your accommodation for one night in basic typical room between the agriculture fields. The local family will provide yours all foods (1L - 1D - 1B). After lunch the entire group together walk up to highest point of island, called Pachatata temple (4200 masl). Is the best place to get pictures from all surround views of this blue sacred lake of the Incas.

After the explanation of the guide, after that back to the houses to have dinner and then you can go to enjoy typical dances with the local music players. Over night with the families.

DAY 6 .- AMANTANI – TAQUILE – PUNO
In the morning, after the breakfast meet the group and travel by our boat to the Taquile Island, 2 ½ hours crossing the lake we will arrive at the last place to visit. Visit and explanation about the live, culture, typical costume and every common activity at the main square, short treks around the island, then have lunch. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow only about 1 KM wide, but 6 to 7 Km. long, on Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. After all we will return to Puno arriving to Puno at 5:00 pm.

Day 7.- PUNO – AREQUIPA
08:00AM Transfer from the hotel to the bus station and bus to Arequipa, after 5 hours traveling for an asphalted route we will arrive to Arequipa, looking wonderful landscapes, where you can see alpacas, lamas, vicunas, flamencos and other animals along the route.

In the afternoon you can go to visit the museum of JUANITA MOMMY or the Monastery of Santa Catalina.

Day 8.- AREQUIPA – COLCA CANYON
Pick up 7:30 and at 08:00 am leave Arequipa towards north west directions behind snow-covered Chachani, Yura, small valley with thermal springs, see wild vicuñas in Pampa Cañahuas national reserve (4,500 masl/14,850 ft)., Alpacas & llamas in Tocra, some birds like flamingoes, ibis, Andean goose, ducks, Andean eagle "Kara Kara" view point of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800 m.)(15,000ft.), See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca, etc.) Once reach Chivay Capital of the valley we will leave our things at the hotel. then have lunch .After lunch at 3:00pm the bus is going to pick us up ,then we will visit Coporaque town place where we will start hiking for approximately 2 hours we will enjoy watching the nature and beautiful landscapes, also we will see an pre-Inca Cemetery . Around 5:00 after hiking we will enjoy the hot spring at the Calera ,the water temperature range from 35º a 38º degree Celsius . at 8:00pm dinner with a folklore show.

Day 9.- Colca Canyon – Arequipa
Early morning after breakfast we will leave toward the "cross of the condor "strategic viewpoint. Lookout and see the deep of the canyon & the flight of the Condor. Stone scale models, some pre Inca graves, when we will return we will see beautiful typical towns, like Yanque & Maca, colonial churches, gently people with typical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre Inca terraces still in use with Andean growing like Corn, Quinoa, Kiwicha (Amaranto), etc. Time for lunch and then return to Arequipa (18:00 approx. in Arequipa).

Day 10.-
On this day we do the transfer to the bus station or airport to continue your travel out of Arequipa.
