DAY 1: WELCOME – RECEPTION
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the Biodiversity Capital of Peru, We will receive you at the airport. Then, we will start our program with a bus tour of the city.

Afterwards, we will go to Puerto Capitanía, to board a motorized boat, and we will sail by the Bajo Madre de Dios River. During the trip, we will immerse ourselves in a fascinating natural environment, with luck we will observe Ronsocos, Alligators, Turtles, Herons, Cormorants and other species of animals.

At our lodge, you will be greeted with delicious Amazonian tropical fruit nectar, and driven to your comfortable room (bungalow). A succulent lunch will await you in our cozy dining room with a rustic design.

Satisfied with your palate, you will be led by our specialized guide through a conveniently interpretive trail signposted towards Cocha Caimán, a small lagoon with an abundant presence of specimens of black caiman (Melanosuchus niger) and white caiman (Caiman crocodilus).

At the end of the afternoon, back to the hostel and from the shore of The river will witness the spectacular sunset in the Amazon, an experience full of colors in welcoming ranges and intensities.

In the evening, a delicious dinner will await you, and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments in our bar, equipped with an excellent board games room and stocked with all the drinks you can imagine.

DAY 2: 
The magic begins with the songs of birds from the Amazonian paradise, waking up with the song of the howler monkey (Alouatta senículus). A succulent breakfast will provide you with the necessary energy for a morning full of new experiences.

LAGO APU VICTOR
After breakfast, we will begin a walk towards the depths of the forest, along specially prepared trails , with bridges to cross the ravines and rivers.

During the walk we will observe the floodplain forest and a variety of flora and fauna and Continuing, we will reach the majestic APU VICTOR LAKE, with crystal clear waters, surrounded by immense swamps and gigantic trees.

Then, we will go up to the AMAZON VIEWPOINT, from which we will enjoy a panoramic view over the lake, observing Parrots, Macaws, Toucans, Camungos, Shanshos (Hoatzin which is a type of wild chicken with a prehistoric appearance), Herons and other animals, such as Alligators, Turtles, etc., and if luck is with us, we will be able to observe the Giant Otter; one of the most spectacular animals in the jungle.

Back at the hostel, a refreshing lunch will await you.

MONKEY ISLAND
In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, we will visit Monkey Island; a unique place in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, five minutes away from the hostel. During the walk, we will observe extraordinary landscapes, with exuberant flora, sheltering a variety of species of monkeys in their natural habitat, such as Maquisapa, Capuchin, Leoncillo, Fraile and with luck other species of animals, such as the Coati and Sloth Bears as well as a great variety of birds .

Finally, we will complete our visit to the island, enjoying the sunset, with the most impressive sunset in the jungle. Then, we will return to the lodge and conclude the day with a pleasant dinner< span style=”color: #6b6a75; font-family: ‘Open Sans’, sans-serif; text-align: justify;”>.

DAY 3: DEPARTURE
After a restful night’s rest, our breakfast awaits you in our dining room before to return to Puerto Maldonado, in time for you to take your flight back to Lima or any other destination.
